NO.1 Appointment of the Secretary General
The World Professional Boxing Federation(WPBF) is proud to officially announce the appointment of Aaron Braunstein as the Secretary General and the Commissioner of Executive Committee of the World Prof essional Boxing Federation (WPBF) and its affiliated the United States Boxing Council (USBC). It is the goal of Braunstein and the WPBF/USBC to change the industry of boxing.
Braunstein was a sports television&radio personality,and currently under consideration to be appointed the next New York State Boxing Commissioner by Governor George Pataki.
In entertainment,Braunstein has promoted concerts by jazz legend Miles Davis,Julio Iglesias and Aaron Neville. He made several movie and television appearances, including roles in Taking Off, Born To Win, and the CBS series Sweating Bullets with Lawrecne Taylor. Braunstein also holds close ties to the industry as the father of celebrated actress Natasha Lyonne. Braunstein received his MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the Univeristy of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Arts in Economis from Brooklyn College. He enjoys auto racing and prizefighting, and he currently resides in New York City in the former apartment of Mike Tyson.
NO.2 Appointment of the 1st Vice-President
The World Professional Boxing Federation(WPBF) is proud to officially announce the appointment of Alex Paglumotan from the Philippines as the 1st Vice-President and the Commissioner of Executive Committee of the World Professional Boxing Federation (WPBF) and its affiliated the United States Boxing Council (USBC). It is the goal of Paglumotan and the WPBF/USBC to change the industry of boxing.
Paglumotan was a former Vice Mayor of Bacolod City and the Games and Amusement Board (GAB) Commissioner,and now councilor.
   
NO.3 Appointment of the 2nd Vice-President/African Chairman
The World Professional Boxing Federation(WPBF) is proud to officially announce the appointment of Raphael Emeka Ikediobi from the Nigerian Boxing Board of Control (NBB of C) as the 2nd Vice-President/African Chairman and the Commissioner of Executive Committee of the World Professional Boxing Federation (WPBF) and its affiliated the United States Boxing Council (USBC). It is the goal of Ikediobi and the WPBF/USBC to develop the professional boxing industry of Africa and thereby provide opportunities for all African boxers.
